Founded in 2003, Utilita was the first brand to challenge the so-called Big Six energy suppliers. Specialising in Smart Pay as You Go Energy (PAYG), Utilita have led the smart meter revolution – installing Britain’s first in 2008. Now, more than 90 per cent of their customers have one. They launched their commercial energy arm from Colchester in 2016 with the goal of providing a fair deal to Britain’s hard working small businesses.
